Sullivan Farm CT – Family Photos

I remember visiting my cousins as a child; I grew up on the east coast of England and they mostly lived on the west coast, close to Liverpool. My grandma would either bring them to us or we would go to them for a few weeks over every summer vacation. The age differences didn’t matter, the fact that we saw each other only a few times a year mattered even less. We were cousins and that was more important than anything else. We probably drove my grandmother crazy in hindsight but we loved those long summer days. I managed to visit some of my cousins when I visited England last year and I am happy to say that bond has lived on through the years and the many miles between us.

Mary and Finley have that same cousin bond. They are so cute together and they get it…. they are cousins!

When you are visiting family in Connecticut in the fall then you just have to schedule family portraits, right??? We met at Sullivan Farm in New Milford to capture some images of two adorable families and the cousins playing together. I hope to see them again on their next visit.

Love, Janet xo

  1. We enjoyed meeting and working with you Janet. What a great day… and we are very happy with the results!

    • It was great meeting you too and I can’t wait for you to move back to CT Lindsay 😉

  2. Cousins, cousins, cousins. Wish I had some of these types of pics from when I was a kid, and more of them from when my kids were kids.
What a eye you have for composition and catching the moment.

    • If only we could go back in time!

  3. As the children’s grandmother,my joy and blessings now extends from my children to the next generation of their children.
You truly captured the bond of the girls and the sweetness of Thomas.
