We're in the Live Music phase of our relationship. Anything from small local venues to arena shows, we have a hard time turning down good shows!
Loving. Trusting. Fun.
Paula and Robert have been together for 30 years this summer, married for 27 this fall. They describe themselves as mostly home bodies except for seeing live music and frequenting their favorite local restaurants.
It was such a treat to have Paula and Rob in the studio to capture images that show their connection and humor. Thanks for sharing your story with me!
Rob: Meme wars and cat videos. Isn't that what every couple does for fun?
Paula is very funny, clever and witty and can make me laugh about the most mundane thing. She can always tell a great story that makes people laugh. In fact, she was a stand-up comedian briefly.
What an absolute blast we had! It was such fun to work together through all of the awkward things we had to do to get the poses, laughing the whole time!
We are both good with photos! Rob looks back at them more often though.
I admire Paula's strength and perseverance with all life's trials and tribulations. She has so much knowledge and wisdom to get us through both our personal and work lives together.
Paula: Rob is the sentimental one. I will talk to strangers, though I hate dealing with people. We are both organized in very different ways - ways that clash
Continuing to enjoy the life we have built together and be as physically active as we possibly can so we can enjoy another fun 30 years together!
We were both very impressed with them and how great they looked! We definitely look forward to displaying a portrait but both of us have been a bit lax in such things over the years.
