In their own words……
Strength. Kindness. Sensitivity.
Yes, I’m more confident, proud of myself and my accomplishments and don’t feel the need to overachieve anymore.
It’s ok to fail, invest your money, be a good friend, don’t work so hard. Experiences, memories and love are what’s ultimately important.
That she loved and was loved, fiercely. That she was ambitious and successful even after failing a few times. That she raised an incredible daughter.
I found out my biological father was someone else 2 years before my mother passed. That I had a difficult relationship with my mother but I have an amazing stepfather who raised me since I was 3 and is and always will be my father, regardless of blood. I am divorced but now engaged to the kindest man I know. I have a 24 year old daughter who is in grad school for architecture and she is my greatest and proudest love, I have two future stepsons in the US Air Force who I adore and love tremendously.
My divorce in 2010 was especially brutal (financially and emotionally). The death of some very close people. Colon cancer in 2009.
My daughter. My relationship with my ‘tribe’ of girlfriends. I own two successful businesses. My future stepsons and my fiancé.
My daughter, my friends and my family. My dog Gunner. Good food and wine! Traveling!
When I was young I wanted to be either racecar driver or CEO of a Fortune 500 Company. I currently own a leather business (and have for over 20 years) and a local consignment shop. I’ve previously owned a garbage company and a Bait/Tackle shop. I truly feel like I was a witch in a former life….
